Our Resources

The Aboriginal Awareness Centre (AAC) has an ever growing collection of books on such topics as, but not limited to : Aboriginal heritage and issues, residential schools, the Metis, Traditional Ceremonies, healing and medicines, political issues, legal cases and treaties, art and culture, storytelling, Aboriginal language and self-governance of First Nations. We also keep copies of the Wawatay News and various publications and brochures pertaining to Aboriginal services. We are continually adding to our video collection. The AAC welcomes requests and recommendations on future titles, publications and videos that you would like to see in our resource centre. Please stop in and speak to the co-ordinator, everyone is welcome!
